What is Iusis, exactly?

You open a matter by client and petition type, Iusis tells you which documents that type requires, reads every page you upload, checks the details against each other across the whole packet, fills in the USCIS forms from what it read, and puts every date that matters on one calendar. The review is part of the case file, not a separate tool you paste documents into.

Who is the private pilot for?

Immigration attorneys, solo practitioners and small firms that prepare employment-based petitions and want the whole matter in one place with a second pass across the document set before filing. Participation is selective and capacity is limited.

Which petition types does it cover?

Accepted Answer

Twenty-one at present. Non-immigrant: H-1B new and extension, L-1A, L-1B, O-1A, O-1B, TN, E-1, E-2, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT and J-1. Immigrant: EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, EB-2, EB-2 NIW, EB-3, EB-3 Other, EB-5 standalone and EB-5 regional centre. Each carries its own required and optional document checklist.

Does Iusis give legal advice or decide anything?

No. Iusis organises the matter, compares documents and reports what it found with the source attached. It does not advise, does not assess eligibility, and does not decide whether a filing should proceed. Every judgment stays with the attorney, who signs the filing.

Is Iusis an AI tool?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we would rather say so plainly. The difference is in how it reads. Rather than treating each document on its own, Iusis links every detail — the beneficiary, the employer, the wage, the dates — to each document that states it. That is why a finding can point you at a specific page rather than at a guess, and why the forms it fills in can show you where each answer came from. Everything it produces is proposed for your approval; Iusis does not change a document or file anything on its own.

Will this prevent an RFE?

We will not claim that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. A request for evidence can issue for reasons that have nothing to do with internal consistency, and adjudication is not something any vendor controls. What Iusis does is narrower and checkable: it finds places where the documents in a packet contradict each other, so that a contradiction is a decision you made rather than one you missed.

What happens to the documents I upload?

Documents are used only to run the matter they belong to. They are not used to train models, are not shared with other firms, and can be deleted on request. Pilot participants receive the full data-handling terms before any document is uploaded.

Question 8

Iusis shows rule references. Is that legal advice?

Accepted Answer

No. A reference tells you which provision a field sits under — the labour condition application rules at 20 CFR 655 for place of employment, the classification rules at 8 CFR 214.2(h) for a petition term. It is a pointer to where to look, not a reading of what the provision requires in your matter, and it is never a substitute for your own analysis.

Will it catch everything?

No, and it is not designed to. Iusis surfaces potential inconsistencies across documents so they can be reviewed deliberately. It is a check that runs alongside your process, not a replacement for it, and a clean report is not a statement that a packet is correct.

What does it cost?

Private-pilot participation is free for the duration of the pilot. The tiers shown above are what is planned for general availability — a free tier at three cases a month, Solo, a per-seat Team plan, and pay-as-you-go per case. Pilot participants will be told of any change before a paid term begins.
